JOB SUMMARY
The Fleet Mechanic is a skilled position that is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles, light and heavy vehicles and equipment, and related components. Responsibilities include but are not limited to vehicle and equipment service, diagnostics, and repair; modification and fabrication of equipment and parts; welding; tool maintenance, inventory oversight, and procurement of all applicable parts, supplies, tools, and equipment needed to perform the task associated with each assignment.
