Good Afternoon. We are looking to purchase an attenuator with an arrowboard. So far we only found one company to obtain a quote, Sherwin Industries, for a Vorteq unit. Has anyone purchased an attenuator and what companies did you contact?
Arlington Heights bought a trailer mounted Scorpion II TA in 2018 although I do not recall who it was through. We also had Mark's Machine Shop in Sycamore build us a truck mounted version that works on our Swap Loader trucks. Schaumburg just went out to bid for a Scorpion II TL3 Attenuator w/Arrow Board. Roadsafe Traffic Systems, Inc. won the bid. The other vendors that submitted bids on this attenuator were Sabre Supply Inc, Traffic Control & Protection, and Work Zone Safety.
